Maxie
When designing Maxie typeface, I drew inspiration from multiple fonts to create a gorgeous retro style font. I made my own spin in redesigning every character and blending capital and lowercase letters. I also created my special characters and numbers. When I was creating Maxie on Adobe Illustrator, I filled the shapes instead of leaving them outlines and then BAM Maxie Alternative was born. My next step was coming up with a poster I got the response of Miami and I realized that the typefaces next to each other and I realized that I had two times of the day night time and day time Miami.
Project guidelines:
Create a decrotive typeface Including alphabet, numbers, and special characters
• Must be an original font
• Create an .otf file
• print out on poster paper
• Make your own images
Color/ Material Selection:
• Used Font Self Maker/ with Adobe Illustrator
• CMYK print, with a semi gloss poster paper
• My design process for this typeface was to reimagane every letter into my own. I used tracing paper to sketch out every mark of each character
